We sent the same article on Thursday, but we will repeat it today to ensure you know how Decoding ML will change and provide some essential feedback in our 1-question poll.
Today’s article is a quick update on Decoding ML’s future.
In the past 6 months, Decoding ML’s newsletter has grown from 1k to 7.5k subscribers.
These numbers are truly staggering, and we owe it all to you. A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support 🤗
Because of this quick growth, we must restructure how Decoding ML works to keep this ongoing with the same value and quality.
Everything will remain free. We won’t introduce any mandatory subscriptions! We want to improve our long-term strategy for better and more relevant content.
Here are the 3 significant ways in which Decoding ML will change :
Slow down to restructure and prepare for great things
From 3, we remained only 2
New guest format for better and more varied content
Slow down to restructure and prepare for great things
All the writers from Decoding ML are also full-time AI/ML engineers, which makes this newsletter relevant. We speak only from our own experience.
However, as we want to restructure things internally, we will lack the time to write twice a week in future months.
Thus, we will scale down to writing only once a week.
We are doing this to prioritize quality over quantity.
Your feedback is essential when choosing the best day to read our newsletter.
Vote to post on your favorite day!
Do you want to keep posting on Thursday or Saturday? It doesn’t matter, or do you prefer another day (leave your thoughts in the comments for other days)?
Thanks for the feedback!
We will go back to writing twice weekly when we have systems in place.

and joined Decoding ML as Co-Founders.Since they joined, we have had the chance to write more detailed and varied articles in multiple fields, such as generative AI, computer vision and MLOps.
Which was awesome… and rare!
However, having the same long-term vision when doing business is fundamental.
Unfortunately, that was not the case with
. Due to some misalignments, we will have to go in separate ways.Starting now, Decoding ML’s core team will consist of me (
) and .Will that affect you as a reader of Decoding ML?
Not really!
With that in mind, let’s move to the next and final point. ↓
New guest format for better and more varied content
We will introduce a new, exciting format to continue pushing for detailed and varied articles with hands-on experience directly from the industry.
So… What is the new format?
We will start bringing guests to write based on their unique experiences and perspectives in the industry.
We started that last week with
, who has over 7 years of experience building industry-level software and data engineering applications.I hope you enjoyed his article as much as I did!
So starting from now, along with reading my and
‘s articles, we will filter top-notch experts from various domains, such as:MLOps
Generative AI
ML Engineering
Computer Vision
Infrastructure
Data Engineering
It's the same niche, just different sides of the same coin.
We loved
’s content, so we were excited to hear that he still wants to write as a guest for our newsletter and blog. So, how will this affect you as a reader of Decoding ML?
Only for the better.
We will start writing about even more use cases with hands-on experience on battle-tested content on production-grade ML & MLOps systems.
To summarize
We will reduce our weekly newsletter to only once weekly (we will pick the day based on your feedback).
Decoding ML and
will go on different pathsWe will introduce a new guest format to have more diverse content on production ML use cases
I hope that you are as excited as we are.
